its actually only 90 days that you have to be completely off a disqualifying medicine... but in the end it is closer to 6 months if you take in to account how slow the FAA is with that stuff... haha

I have had a few students recently have to go through this....

I am also thinking the original question didnt have to do with a medical, but more with a pre-employment or random drug test....

But after re-reading, oxycodone is a form of codeine, and therefor has lingering effects as far as motor skills, judgement, ect... I would give it a few days after stopping just to be safe.
