This has already been discussed, but I will sum it up for you. Why would you NOT get a new medical? First off you will need one anyway if you are hired, second off, it is a requirement for employment! Not taking the time to get an updated medical shows them what kind of person you are, i.e. one that is not all too serious about getting the job. Just my 2 cents.
