Wheels Up Now Adding Citations?
Just saw on another board that Wheels Up is adding Citation XLs and Sovereigns to the King Air 350 orders:
Wheels up Adds Cessna Citation Jets to Its World-Class Member Platform - Yahoo Finance UK
Are these new or used aircraft (ex-CitationAir)?
Same bases as the King Air? Any pilot related details appreciated.

Also good point about JetSuite - it's obvious that CJ3s were not included in this order and perhaps for that reason.
Meanwhile, VistaJet/Jet Aviation will handle the large aircraft demand. That would leave a gap for Super-mid sized aircraft. My prediction: Wheels Up orders the G280 or Embraer 500 (big discounts) to fill that void in their "comprehensive aircraft solution."

CitationAir will be involved in this somehow. It's not clear as of yet exactly how, but the info hopefully will unfold in the coming days.
We do know that at least for now, CitationAir will be flying the Citations for Wheels Up.

Good job! Did you get hired onto a Citation or onto the King Air? Wonder if the KA pilots will funnel into the Citations or if this is a separate pilot operation?

I don't know. It likely depends on how temporary or permanent the flying is. Rumor has it that we will do the flying through 2014. After that is still anyone's guess.
