Default QANTAS A330-200 flies on McBiofuel

Qantas has just flown from Sydney SYD to Adelaide ADL [QF1120/21]on a 50:50 blend of jet A and 'aviation grade' bio-fuel made from McDonald's waste oil imported from the USA... At 5 times the normal price[proof of concept I guess] Virgin Australia has plans to develop a fuel based on eucalyptus oil. [won't that smell pretty]

Now if they can just do that consistently on a 13 hr flight then they would really have something to brag about.
