Default Pilot Uniform Shirts - do not use Pilot House

Well Guys,

Been buying pilot uniform shirts for 30 years now, I had a new customer service experience today with Regina from Pilot House at Pilotshirts.com - pilot uniform shirts, pilot supplies, pilot shirts., after a first-time purchase with this company.

After sending back my unused/unworn ordered shirts for refund due to bad fit and construction (in the original packing), they refused to credit my account in whole and even sent 1 shirt back to me saying it had a small spot on it and they would not accept it back for refund - in addition, they charged my credit card again to send back to me, the shirt that I had already paid shipping charges on (twice) - so that's 3 shipping charges for a crappy shirt that doesn't fit. And get this, when I called to discuss the issue, Regina refused to even entertain the thought of any refund or that, possibly, they were the ones responsible for the so-called spot, not me. When I reiterated that did she really want to treat a pilot like this from an airline that employs over 15,000 pilots, she hung up on me. Stunned, i called her back and asked her if that is truly the way that she deals with paying customers, and she said she didn't need our (American's Airlines) business, and hung up again. I'm stilled stunned, even as I write this. Ultimately, I ended up buyiong a better shirt from A Cut Above, and couldn't be happier. I've also used Landerwood Shirts with excellent results.
All i can say is, if you want to buy a crappy shirt, and then be treated like crap - as if your business means nothing, then certainly use www.pilotshirt.com - if you want to be treated with respect as a paying customer, then use one of the other companies, and you'll also be getting a better shirt too.

Dispute the charge on your cc. I have always been the victor every time I have needed to do that.

I personally use acutabove tropo because it stretchs and less likely to have wrinkles on shirts after long day

I hope everyone heads this warning and boycotts this company!

Folks, your votes, you rights, your contracts etc. mean less and less by the day, but voting with your wallet is still the most power you have in our dwindling "free market." Crappy customer service and bad products deserve to be voted out.

And if you buy from them after this guys warning, you deserve to get fv@k'd to.

I love A Cut Above, they are the only shirts that fit pilots that are even remotely an athletic fit. They aren't even on our approved supplier list (meaning my uniform allowance doesn't cover them), but they're so much better than the others that I think paying out of pocket is worth it.
