Pilots reported an "Alert 2" condition.........Well that's a bit of a "cominglement" of terms.

"Alert 2, engine stuck in neutral, MASTER WARNING!" the worst thing a pilot will ever hear....These guys are lucky to be alive. At least the FAA is investigating it.

If the engine was stuck in neutral, shouldn't the AAA be investigating?

That would be an alert 10 situation. Much more worser.

I don't want to say too much because I know that journalists read this forum, but I have it on good authority that the No 2 engine was left in auto-feather mode!
