Huh?
Except for putting their post in this section instead of in the Hiring News section I don't see anything wrong with their post. Or would you rather they put an ad in climbto350 and then have five guys post "Hey, I'm too cheap to pay for a subscription on the Orange site. Can anyone tell me . . ." in this section?

I understand. My reply was in response to the post by "Mr. JT8D," not yours.

Are they opening a BWI base? I saw the ad for that on climbto350. They called me for an interview back when they were hiring into the left seat but when I said no to moving to TEB that was that. BWI puts me close to the 2 hour limit from the airport but the 6/3 still sucks. Heck I'd do a 12/6 before a 6/3. But if you live in base I am told you don't fly all 6 days you are just on call.

We have had a few of their guys come to work for us. Been hearing of the experience working there. You actually work for Gama, not Wheels Up. Gama manages the planes for Wheels Up.
Pay is good, but the schedule is ridiculous! You basically live at work.
If you have a family, not the place to work for. Unless you are not interested in seeing them much.
Heard they promise all these things to get you in the door. Schedule is going to get better, you'll upgrade in "X" amount of months. I heard about the home reserve thing also, but apparently they have to have guys staffed (deal they have with wheels up) with the airplanes at ALL times. Even when the plane is in maintenance. There is a mass exodus of guys leaving right now. The guys I've talked to all said the same thing. Great place to work, if only they would change the schedule. Guess it's a matter of what's more important to you; working like a pack mule and living in a hotel room or quality of life?
Hope it works out for them, but for the time being there are a lot of options out there. Netjets is hiring. Better schedule and more money. Another thing is the contract they have with wheels up. Guess it's only a 5 year contract and they are in year 2. The guy who started wheels up will most likely be selling the company at the end of the 5 years. Sort of his thing, to build companies and sell them off. Job security?
Just have to know what you are getting into and don't expect them to change.
