Frontier "howgozit?"
Just curious. Frontier has been working with the RAH management for several months now. I have heard some rumors that grievance filings have increased dramatically, but just rumors. Would any of the Frontier guys care to compare and contrast this management team with that with which you used to work?
This is not intended to stir the pot. I really just wish to know how the transition went/is going. Thanks.

So Ashcroft, what you meant to say is " I have no idea because I'm not involved in the RAH situation, but I still feel the need to stick my 2cents in anyway."

thats just part of the combination of the midwest brand into the frontier brand. i think the plan was by next fall (2011) all aircraft will be in frontier colors.
I am curious as to how things are going at frontier. have you guys learned what its like to be continously beat down by heller? I heard you were fighting the MKE base with limited success? How about scheduling? I hope for your sake things arent as bad as they are with the rest of the RAH family.

The MKE grievance went to arbitration, is wrapping up this month, and the result will be officially released probably in September. I imagine the definition of "success" in MKE can only be told by the MKE based pilots and none of them are complaining.
Scheduling has been a total fiasco. Only three schedulers transfered out of Denver to Indy. They weren't staffing to accommodate our scheduling flexibilities and the result was over 100 disputes in three months. Thankfully, FAPA met with EVERYONE at RAH and they now have the required staffing in place. There is actually a bunch of smart people in the Crew Scheduling/SOC at Republic. In addition to wiping out the disputes (pilots are getting paid, schedules have been fixed, schedulers have been educated) FAPA is now meeting with Heller et al on a monthly basis to prevent the same sort of mess. We are still experiencing some issues with regard to scheduling but the learning curve was rather steep. Over all it has changed 180 degrees for the better when compared to May and June.
