I have no idea how it works. I have a friend that e-mailed me the process and it said "Candidates who have already created a profile will receive an e-mail with specific instructions on how to become an applicant this hiring cycle". Up until February of this year I haven't updated my pilotcredentials since 2011 and have not received the e-mail notifications that everyone is talking about. So I am assuming that even though I have a PC account that I will probably have to resubmit the whole thing? Either way, I just want to make sure that I'm submitting everything correctly. Thanks for the replies.

Default Southwest Application Process

I applied today via Southwest.com/Careers and received the confirmation email. It was just a list of Yes/No questions. I also have my SWA Pilot Credentials Application filled out but there appears to be no way to hit send. Am I correct in thinking that within the next week SWA will email me saying to fill out an application via Pilot Credentials and then there will be a way to submit the application on Pilot Crdentials?

Anybody know how the profile and pilotcredentials.com link up? I have my pilotcredentials good to go; however, I can't figure out my login for the SWA page and might have to create a new one. I don't want to lose what I've done on pilotcredentials though. Any advice?

Create a new one. It was different this time compared to the application process in Sep.

TY.

That's just what I did, seemed easy enough.

Honestly, I am hoping its a flush and reset. My pilotcredentials has been active since 2011 and I would think starting from scratch would be a benefit for everyone.

Submitted my app as well, but no follow-on email telling me to do anything with pilotcredentials. From what I'm reading, it may take a few days to get this?

I also received the TBNT letter from last hiring cycle, BTW. Military with big-wing and tactical jet time, but no type. Keeping my fingers crossed this time around!

You've got plenty of time too. The subject of the email said they were hiring for 'Apirl 2104'.

Does anyone know the breakdown on how many were hired with the type vs. how many without the type in the last hiring cycle?

With the type: a whole lot

Without the type: Maybe one or two silver bullets.

You have to have the type to start training. There just isn't enough time for dudes to get the type between the DB and class start. Timing is what makes it difficult for guys without the type.
