Delta Record 3 Qtr Profit

...even if your new "iron cad" language is better than your previous "iron clad" language, the new "iron clad" language can also be dismissed by future "iron clad" language that dismisses the previous "iron clad" language. This vicious circle of revisions can ensure that you never see the gains you thought you negotiated.
I'm all aghast at this "vicious circle" of overall scope improvements.
See above. I'm always happy to trade up in protections, or whatever else, so long as it's a true overall improvement. I don't care so much where I fly, so long as the quantity and quality (read dollar value) of the flying remains at or above its previous level.

"At" the previous level of anything, including QOL and other compensation, is not acceptable. It must be "above."
In addition to pay, the "quantity and quality of time off (read family life)" must also improve..not stay the same. Every single last facet of the contract MUST improve. PERIOD.
For crying in Sleepy Ed's beer, Alan. The company is rolling in money. Why are you OK with anything staying "at" previous levels?
