Default Alaska Seasonal Pilot jobs

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you knew of any seasonal pilot jobs in Alaska? I have about 1,000 tt and am wanting to do some real and fun flying before I head off to the airlines for rest of my career. Any ideas would be great, thank you for your help!

How about if you come up, get a full time job, build enough time to go to Ravn or Pen Air and then "your" Major job...

You seem to have a great deal of assumptions going there.

Wings is a great place as well as Alaska seaplanes. They have lots of wheel-planes so apply to them also.

If you think you can fly, you'll learn.

Realize that much Alaskan flying isn't over passes, landing on glaciers and gravel strips, it's hauling passengers and soda pop to small villages over and over again in dirty old planes. It's not glamorous at all, but if things like medicine don't get delivered, people can die. Those are usually the jobs you might have a chance at with that kind of time.

Most of the "real exciting" stuff are very small operators that own and fly their own plane or employ a few pilots with lots of experience. There are a few exceptions and "in betweens", but a lot of this state is flat swamp and tundra and that's where a lot of the flying occurs. These villages exist in places they ought not to and that defy belief.
