I plan on applying soon and I'll be 26 in 2 months....a lot of my buddies were between 24-28 when they started

At least from what I've seen, I would dare say the average is up in the 30s, simply because of the fact that the classes I've seen have one or two guys pushing 50 or 60.

Now the median, on the other hand, might be down in the late twenties.

And I'm 23, and I got an A- in statistics.

I will be 44 this time around. the bright side is I probably get the best senority number in the class....LOL

I'd say at least 27 or 28. In a year of being a regional CA I can count on one hand how many FO's I've had younger than me and I'm only 26.

2 1/2 years ago I was the youngest in the class at 23 (just turned 23 the month prior). A good friend was 21 when she got hired 3 years ago.

I was 21 first time around then 22 and believe it or not I was not the youngest at Eagle. I had 2 below me. BTW I did not PFT or had 500hrs either.

I was 3rd youngest in my newhire class, I had just turned 24. I upgraded at 26. The Youngest in my class was 19.
