Trans States will be holding an open house at IAD on January 6th and 7th. Details on the website. On site interviews should be expected.

ASA guy told me today XJT is gonna furlough yet CRJ side is hiring, not a good deal. IAD is closing for XJT. Good opportunity for guys who hate commuting.

I disagree with nevets but that's a horse that's long been beaten to death. I know some good people over there and it's too bad what's happening in IAD. Sadly in these times I don't think there's a regional out there that profits without being another's misfortune. Best of luck to everyone. Merry Christmas all.

That's exactly right, skypilot35. Apparentlly, someone gets it. As for Johnny, someone just ****ed in his cheerios. No bad feelings

Well, you are the one who said you wanted to compare other contracts.

As far as I know, MESA pilots are not saying their contract is above average. That's only TSA pilots here that are saying that. That's why. Until then, I'll chose when to drop it.

We were just told yesterday that they are hiring 12 pilots per month per side (24 total). And the plans to offer leaves of absences have been cancelled.

You and others can disagree that your contract isn't above average. But I'm the only one who has actually put an above average contract side by side with your contract to compare and show that yours is not above average.

Merry Christmas

Yes our is above average. I don't think you know know the definition of average. You can't just post one contract and say ours isn't above average. If you compare us against mesa or republic wouldn't our contact be above average?

The TSA contract is above average. The XJT contract also has language that is below average.

people say to avoid regionals with 50-seaters. Yet the 145 is a 50-seater…. are there any concerns about this with TSA?

There will always be some kind of 50-seat market, especially with fuel prices remaining low. I don't think the mid-term plan for TSA is to remain a 50-seat fleet but the majors still want to use them.
