Default Commuting

I have been out of the 121 game for quite a while now and it seems as though i may be diving back in. i am curious for those of you that commute, are there any good sites or sources out there to use to see flights between cities, number of seats available, and number of non revs or jumpseaters listed for a flight?

Whichever company you work for should give you access to be able to check load status, list and see non-revs listed for that particular partner such as United, Delta,Us Airways.

True. However, UAL's "flying together" employee site (formerly Skynet) can be so horribly inaccurate of what's really going on. I can be at the gate, looking at the site, while the departure monitor is COMPLETELY different as far as seats available, seats yet to be assigned, whatever.

Meanwhile, I can to the UAL app on my phone and look at the sub menu/seat map and it jives with the departure screen/real time info. To include the non-revs listed. But that's just United, other companies may be different. I heard that DAL's is pretty accurate, no personal experience though.

flyzed.com. Sometimes accurate, sometimes not for individual flights, though it will always give you a fairly solid idea about how smoothly things will generally go.

passrider.com for sure. If you need to know loads on another airline, just call their reservation line and say you're a pilot with another airline, and ask how the loads look.

....and use FedEx and UPS...one of the best perks of being a 121 pilot, imho.

What are you doing now, and why are you getting back in?

I never used UAL's when it was Skynet since everything is always a cluster with them.DAL's is really nice, you can see where you are on the list in priority at the gate and the website. There is no feeling that you are getting screwed over.
