Some have argued that an I9 was filled out, but I could fill out welfare forms now too. Doesn't mean I will be approved for it, or am currently on it. The fact that the company had you fill it out means nothing until employment starts. Its just a government form. This may sound harsh, but prior to this merger it was the accepted method and no one seemed to care. If 9E goes against the ALPA definition, will 9L get to change the dates back for those affected prior to llst certification?
As I already explained as naseum earlier, you cannot use our original DOH since all of our checkrides dates (hence hire date) were done without regard to seniority. Just whoever happened to finish in whatever order. If you use our original DOH then you would end up completely reordering our seniority list, which is a blatant violation of ALPA merger policy.
