This reminds me of the Eastern scab I flew with years ago. He was stuck flying crappy night freight gigs.
Not to worry, I know a pilot, former EAL Post Strike Sky Jockey, for a bottom feeding freight operation from MI. He managed to become a Chief Pilot of a Supp. 121 Carrier in the US, and sort of abused his office. His abuse of power caused a few law suits against the company too $$$$$$

He has been black balled from not only US carriers, but in the Asian, Mid East, and European Theaters too
