Gotcha. Well hey, if you have a good paying desk job that you don't hate, that may be best for you. Starting off at a regional can be pretty tough that first year. You gotta love flying and not mind being away from home to make it through. If you go to a decent airline, it does get better, and can end up being a pretty sweet job. Personally, I couldn't handle a 9-5 type job, I would go crazy. But everyone is different. A lot of the people that are on here *****in all the time about the airlines are the ones that should be flying a desk. That or they went and got hired at some crap hole bottom feeder and get beat up day after day by their crappy contract and work rules. It all depends on your situation and what you make of it.
