Thanks for the responses... I made it to CLT on Airways and will have no problem getting back to ORF.

I wasn't looking for sympathy nor did I think that denying any jumpseats would really solve anything. Next time I will take the advice and talk to the crew. I Appreciate all the help and that this thread didn't turn into a circus.
