The Colgan plan would have moved me up about four percent. The Mesaba plan would have put me down about three percent. Had the deal been between Mesaba and Colgan, I would have ended up roughly where I started when all was said and done. I might not have been happy, but I would not have felt cheated.

But the Pinnacle plan would have put me down about THIRTY to FORTY percent.

It was the Pinnacle plan (Category and Class) that would have p!ssed me off. Had Pinnacle come forth with a Gross Weight plan, I would have grumbled but accepted it since it would have yielded 900, Q, 200, Saab as the final solution. That plan would have given Colgan pilots some respect. Instead, we Colganites were relegated to filling up the bottom.

It seems to me, the Pinnacle SLI committee considered Colgan pilots to be something less than standard. They seemed to see us as parasites. That opinion is one I cannot accept.

(I DO NOT believe the rank and file of Pinnacle believes the Pinnacle plan was "fair and equitable" but the SLI members have left a bad taste in my mouth)
That's funny, I feel the same way towards Colgans merger committee.
