He also promised that Memphis and CVG would survive. Everyone knew that over time they would be greatly reduced and that is ongoing. Shifting to one training center is the smart thing to do. I thought he would keep it open another year or two before they made the typical "Things Changed" announcement.
I believe the MSP airport loan payoff they announced is required if Delta reduces jobs in the area.
