I'm not sure how anyone could interpret that email as anything other than someone from management venting and displacing their frustration on no other than............. The pilot group. Why not take a crap on the pilot group when times get tough? After all we are just a bunch of pushovers and an easy way to cut cost.....eh hem. Sorry, those were the pilot groups of the past. We have hit rock bottom and I think management is in a bind now that their easiest way of cutting costs is no longer an option.

Pilots are not inherently lazy, as much as management would like to believe. However, what they want is no longer as valuable as it used to be. It's time they step up to the plate and make sacrifices as well.

I have lost a little bit of respect for the author of that email. I have a feeling that this email will only have an adverse effect our operation.
