Is this weird analogy supposed to mean that RAH was technologically superior to Midwest?

The Midwest pilots could have accepted the RAH pay scale and work rules and flown the 170s that were replacing the 717s. The training department was actually spooling up to do this. Several check airman finished type training.

Most of them will not see a raise until the IBT gets a new contract signed and they are not willing to wait around to see if and when that will happen. No company can survive long term with such a disenchanted employee group, with so little hope.
On that note, we can agree. Look at what he is doing to the Frontier gate agents? Another glaring example of how something can be completely legal and WRONG at the same time. No one is saying what the RAH pilots did was illegal but it would certainly be refreshing if they at least acknowledged it was wrong.
