I am a Canadian Citizen (Eh?), and hold a work authorization card and travel documents that let me work and travel freely... I live here permanently and am married to an American Citizen. I am waiting on my Green Card, but it often can take over a year to get. Apparently, my work card and ability to travel is not good enough for them, so I am disappointed since I have no idea when my Green Card will come.
I am hoping this is a company thing since everywhere i have looked says "ability to work legally in the US and travel" and nothing about a green card. Anyone know any different?
I am trying to get down to one of SkyWest's open houses, I guess I am going to have to suck it up and pay an airline ticket from Baltimore. Anyone had any callbacks from them from simply applying over the web? 2500TT, 101ME FYI.
I am not sure what kind of work permit you have it might not be enough to work for a U.S airline you might have to have the Green Card I flew in Canada this summer on a Canadian work permit but it spelled out clearly what I would be flying my position and where I would be flying and for who and it was only good for 90 days. I do not know if yours has any such restrictions or not.
