Kinda Off topic:
My solo hours, alone, is north of the 500 mark. I feel sorry for these 400TT pilots going straight into the regionals and getting their "love" of aviation sucked out of them. Some of these guys and gals proly do not want to think about aviation on their days off. Some of them will never experience a fly-in, a $100 burger, camping under an airplane or just sitting with other pilots at FBOs talking about their birds and thrills. Yes, these things cost money, but taking a 50-100K loan for a fast track to airlines, and not paying a few $100 to experience these things gives a hint of someone who does not appreciate aviation.
P.S The person I used to fly for, let me take his aircraft for the adventures mentioned above.
