You are right it is only about 1.5 million a year, times 30 years, 450 million. I guess the 3 billion number was a projection for total DDT deaths by the next end of the world global warming time limit expires.

I'll bet 450 million makes you "feel" much better about the illogical and emotional decision to ban DDT.
