The point is we have pilots on both sides of the table that simply love to CONTROL pilots. Mgmt does it through company rules and regs and the union does it through a contract. I think limits are a necessary evil but I get a kick out of pilots telling other pilots they should be able to live on XXXXX dollars because they do.
If mgt had it their way we would all be flying say 150 hours per month like some of our FA's do. Contract limits are to protect you in more ways then one...
