Former Frontier Airlines boss Sean Menke will succeed Phil Trenary as CEO of Memphis-based Pinnacle Airlines, the regional carrier announced in late May. A managing partner at Denver-based Vista Strategic Group, Menke assumes his new duties on July 1. Trenary resigned his position on March 24, leaving interim leadership of the company to chairman of the board Donald Breeding. Menke also becomes a member of the company’s board of directors.

Menke, 42, brings 20 years of airline management experience to Pinnacle. He previously served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Republic Airways and president and CEO of Republic subsidiary Frontier Airlines.
Richard Anderson showed up at Delta, then we know what happened next. Then you also have Republic's management negotiating a deal with Frontier's pilots to divest Frontier and making a nonsensical airplane order for two almost identical competing jets.

The shares were moving together on Monday. PNCL moved back to its normal range on Tuesday.

I'm probably wrong ... it was just a speculative guess. I do think Delta will split its order though.
