The lesson is this: Don't pick en employer based on projected movement. No one has a crystal ball in this industry, even the executives. Pick an airline based on work rules & compensation. That way when you're stuck at the bottom and commuting to reserve, you don't feel like slashing your wrists with a dull plastic butter knife you borrowed from a Flight Attendant. RAH is a terrible place, and I wish I would've listened to some wiser and older friends. I made my decision in late 07 based on projected movement. I've been paying for that shortsightedness ever since.
