The only time I ever have ever bounced a landing here at Delta it had to be William Shatner on board on the 88.
He gave me hell. I just bowed my head and took my lumps.
Now the 88 is a fantastic landing airplane and to an extent I enjoy it more than the 757 which was a great landing plane. But it was during that first 100 hours when you kind of over think the landings as you and the airplane come to terms and we've been great friends ever since.
But I'm sure next time William Shatner is on board my plane I'll bounce it. I'll blame it on him to his face then.
BTW, he rode in coach.
