To change it back you will need to call your block rep and tell him to. If I get elected, you will have my vote already. The pay was designed to have 2 officers in the office at all times. It was based on officers working 3 out 4 weeks in a 4 week bid month and 4 out of 5 in a 5 week bid month- monday thru friday 9 to 5. Scott has altered it so they commute in on monday am jumpseat and leave on friday pm jumpseat. So monday morning or friday afternoon, no officers are home. Except, to cover their butts they just started bringing in a duty officer (last week cory franklin)to cover them while they commute. Then Scott has given himself 2 more day per week that he is allowed to work from home. All with no reduction in pay and no regard to manning the office daily with 2 offcers. Let me tell you that for 8 years prior to Scott that was not the case. No telecommuting days and mandatory days in the office for 2 officers for the pay. The duty officer (bringing in a block rep to cover) idea was designed for times when 2 officers might have over-lapping vacation or when 1 officer got called to a meeting in DC with the FAA, ALPA National or the like and that only left 1 back at the office. It was never intended to cover officers who just can't make it to work.

What I want to know is how they managed to pull that off. If he wants to be Chairman of the MEC... come to work and show the flag.. How can I get a copy of the office day's the Officers work?
Next question.. how do we change it back!??
