I know we could argue the merits of the last TA forever but that seems to be a cornerstone of your dislike of the MEC Chair. Clearing up your point would help me understand your position.
2 reps said it shouldn't be sent out to the membership for a vote. I'm thinking you agree with them. The pay raise with the CGN LOA was much better than getting squat for giving the company HKG and CDG. I have to give SS a nod compared to DW's effort. If DW was hoping to get a higher 777 pay rate he should have held up the FDA LOA for it. But he didn't.
What was the biggest issue in the TA for you? Specifically, what would have made it good enough for you to offer it to the membership?
Is this all about officer pay? Quite frankly, I've seen some real losers hanging around the office to make sure they looked busy. This was usually encouraged by an even bigger loser boss. It was more important to occupy the desk than to be good. I've seen others spend less time in the office and accomplish more. Ever hear of the term "Practicing Bleeding"?
How exactly would you force the company to compensate us for 4a2b? We were at a standstill and took it to arbitration. Didn't do any good. How much higher can you take it?
