I don't want to totally hijack the OP's topic, but yes we have considered the changes involved in getting a job in SA and are prepared to seriously consider it. The ARAMCO compound sounds very much like the military bases we've lived in, particularly the one in Turkey that we absolutely loved. It's definitely not for everyone, but we are willing to try it while we're relatively young and adventurous. Thanks for the info!
