Yes I know that. All of the manuals, MEL/CDL and such behind the FO are already on the EFBs. Just not authorized reference materials there, or so I've been led to believe. So they haven't gotten the FAA approval to use the EFB copies and still pay to print, distribute and post paper manuals (on the MD, anyway...).
Or perhaps I missed the official approval via Ru___Gram or Comm Update, both unofficial sources. But we seem to have managers that love to legislate and guide via unofficial communications rather than official FCIFs that can be used to regulate or change approved options.

bottom line: a paper QRH is always required, and for those aircraft using paper normal checklists, a paper normal checklist is always required - everything else can be electronic and on the EFB
