Amen brother! I have been saying that for years. I wouldn't have a problem flying a large RJ for a DECENT WAGE while on the UniCon seniority list. Remember when American had Fokker jets flown by AA pilots? The line between RJ and not RJ is getting mighty blurry. EMB190 is approaching the A319 etc.
We have these kids willing to get their big airline gig by paying for training and working for welfare wages with 1000 hours total time.(if that)
That drives me crazy as I sit home furloughed for a second time and watch RJ's fly ORD to IAH. But I say again, the RJ's and subcontracting to Republic and SkyWest are a management's dream come true. As long as we let them do it.
