Seriously, when I got out of the Marine Corps, I would have gone to Law School. Dead serious. This profession has changed so much in the past 10 years, it's almost not worth pursuing. Just look at the erroded salaries, work rules, pensions, benefits, travel "benefits", etc.

We all love to fly and that's great but unless you land a very special flying position, it's not worth the hastle. Fly for fun and make some money doing something else you are passionate about.
