Nowhere in the premise of your post do you discuss profitability...do you. Your thesis (as bolded above) is that "old-school" tough unions have lower pay rates. An obvious falsehood. When I call you out on it by reminding you of UPS, you quickly change your premise to profitability.
How about we complete the statement in context (in red above), groundskeeper. Attending and throwing parties isn't the only reason LUV has been successful. They've made some very good profits too.
