We were told that studies deemed this limitation to be unacceptable to passengers, even though it's supposedly safer, and that it caused some problems with flight crew/cabin crew interaction.
There was a rumor that we were going to lease some Euro certified combi's(747-300), but that never panned out.
Well that ruins that. 743s would be cool though.
What is it that on an RTO will send all of the cargo through the passenger cabin? Then what does the FAA thinks happens with a FedEx or UPS B727, A310, B757, B777, DC8, B767, DC10 or MD11 with the cockpit ahead of the cargo?
Sucks. I want a combi.
