800 hours of Hawg time, very little above a 5,000 feet except for translants.
They wanted to test the washer in sub-freezing temperatures, and that was a quick way to do it. I think the residue problem was eventually solved by changing the "gunpowder" formula. We did lose one A-10 when gun gasses caused a double engine rollback at low altitude.
