Because that list is worth nothing. It's one of the most useless and pointless things available to us. That list gives us NO guidance as to who is actually available for reserve. Some of those could be on FAR rest. Some could have a 30/7 conflict(Assuming it's a domestic trip). Some may be finishing a trip tonight.
Here's an idea. If someone ISN'T really available, how about we DON'T put them on the availability list.
Actually, I'd like the list to show what everyone is doing. Just like it list short calls, I'd like to see rotation numbers next to those that are out on a trip or long call, rest, etc.
