Yes I would be joining with prior airline experience. So I guess I would be in the short/accelerated cadet course.
So my understanding is CX gives you a loan for 1.1M and you pay it back 220,000K over a 6 year period and this is considered to be the training contract? After 6 years if you are still with the company you get 880,000k to keep.

2.Time to upgrade to FO......6+ Yrs to become JFO, God knows how long to FO.
3. Time to be based in U.S...Good Luck with that, you have to be a FO to be able to bid an outport base, than they have to have opening, so you might be looking at 10+ Yrs, maybe longer.
3.log flight time....I don't know what to tell you.....They will issue you whats called P2X, or PX2 what ever they call it now, it only a endorsement in your file and not recognize any where in the world...They don't even give you a SIC type.
4. $10,000 HKG for housing is BS.....Yea its BS....good luck finding anything for that amount, if you do I will pay your rent for 12 month....why do you think CX is having tough time finding people... Top housing for Senior Captain 7 and above HK$36,000. That how much a SO who was hired 3 yrs ago is getting, and Senior Captain is getting $100K+...I don't know how old you are but you are looking at 20 to 25+yrs to upgrade to Capt.
5. If you do leave before the 6 yr time....you owe CX 1.1 million HKG dollar, not just $880,000.
