I'm on reserve and had yesterday off. I called the VRU at 4:19pm yesterday and it said I had nothing to acknowledge. I got a call from scheduling this morning at 3:30am telling me I have a 6:30 report and that the trip was put on my schedule at 10:30 am yesterday. Does this sound right?
Am I obligated to check my schedule via the computer at 3pm or is the VRU phone call enough? The scheduler said that they have no way of knowing when I called in and that they can only know if and when I check the computer.
I had the same thing about 3 weeks ago!!! PLEASE PLEASE call you REPS AND your Chief Pilot. This is total BS and needs to be nipped in the butt real quick. Obviously my complaint didn't do anything.
There are a bunch of new scheduler and they have NO idea what they are doing, many coming from other departments in the company.
