Yes but last number I heard was only a 10% acceptance rate of recalls. If I understand it correctly they get 2 opportunities for recall and then they lose their spot. I find it hard to believe that the hiring going on right now is a result of that. We are pretty short across the board without losing pilots to AA. This just potentially aggravates the situation (in a good way). It sounds good on the surface, but some of the other things are kind of vague like if furloughed they will work to get preferential hiring at the airline doing the flying in event of a divesture. My question is, if this happens do you retain your hiring rights at AA. My guess would be no....
