I'm in no position to tell you if you're competitive or not, but for comparison's sake I'll tell you what I just got selected with (June 2011 board). GPA and hours a little lower than yours (currently regional CA), AFOQT 80s/90s across the board, PCSM a lot lower than yours. Also had glowing rec from the chief pilot of my unit, dunno if this is standard for all the units, I assume it is but he really did an embarrassingly good job of writing about me in a flattering light. In my package I had some other letters of rec too from random people (former supervisors, check airmen, etc.) but none compared to the chief pilot's.
