The savings are in the debt financing not the pilots costs. Their contracts all have trip and duty rigs these days. The training efficiencies would be huge as well.
This would be awesome, but how would it work for say a guy at ASA who holds the -700 but stays on the -200 for QOL? Do they get an option to stay? With ASA/ExpressJet merging they have a ton of 50 seaters we won't want.
