More Mesaba guys showed up cause more of them had that day off, therefore more mesaba votes for Mesaba reps. We will see how it falls when in the near future we vote for the real reps via internet/telephone.....

It is my understanding that depending on how the time line works, these interim members get to elect the new MEC, this gives them the possibility to hold a lot of power to shape the future Union. That is why these elections are supposedly so important. I am too apathetic to really care how the elections turn out at this point.
