At CAL, your type rating received at the conclusion on training will read B737, Limitation: Circ. Apch - VMC ONLY
Both CA's and FO's Type Rating will read the same as above.....So yes, since the CA's reads as such, it will be exercised as a "PIC Type" if that's what your asking.
At CAL, all FO's are "typed" on respective equipment.
