The AF /squadron does the "Combat" Flight Check, but the FAA pilots do a lot of international flight checks. The FAA is basically contracted to do some work. They use the Challenger fleet for most of the work, but the Lears will do some of the work in the Caribbean. Other common places include Europe and the Pacific Rim.
