ASA's APLA threaten to file an injunction stating that the transfer of a/c from ASA to SKW during ASA's negotiations for a new pilot contract (TA) is illegal under the RLA (Railway Labor Act). SKW didn't want to battle the issue (they would have lost) and has decided to hold off the rest of the transfers until the contract has been completed. Once the ASA TA is completed SKW will continue the transfers and that is when the majority of restructuring (of both airlines) will happen.

I’m certain that over the next year or so the bigger picture will become clear and it will lead to a bright future for both airlines and their employees.
