I agree with your statement, my only point is, if we allow them latitude on the PWA, they will take it, and over time that latitude can become practice. They are over worked, understaffed, and working on a vertical learning curve up there. Unless someone tells them the correct way, they will learn the wrong way, and then never know how to actually perform the job as described.

I too will acknowledge a assignment prior to my window, but only if it works to my favor, I have seen many trips removed and I get reassigned something else, so sometimes it pays to be patient.
