Many of the airline guys (majors) that I have talked to that are around 54-58 are still planning on retiring around 60 maybe 61. The ones that can afford to do it financially are usually sick of the job at 60 and are ready to leave. Again notice I said the ones that can afford to do it. It will be interesting to see just how many stay the whole five years.
